Alycia Debnam-Carey, a Australian actress, is best known for her role in Fear the Walking Dead and other shows on TV. Born in Sydney, Australia, she started acting at the age of eight. The first time she appeared in her role was the feature film Martha s New Coat . The actress was in the first episode of McLeod's Daugher. Her debut role was as a regular character in the sci-fi television series The 100 . Based on the novel with the same title The 100 was an adaptation of a show on TV. She portrayed Commander Lexa an imposing head of the clans. In Fear the Walking Dead she performed the role of a powerful leader for twelve clans. It was well received by the critics, and it has won several awards and accolades. Jigsaw Girl or The Branch, are two of her other short films. Her debut feature film was the film about disasters Into the Storm, which included found footage. The film had a huge commercial success however, the critics generally were negative.
